Each of the kids take turns cooking a meal with me every other week. I am trying to teach them early! Austin is also talking a cooking class at school so he has lots of ideas how things should be. Its pretty entertaining!

While on the way to drop Austin off at the theatre with Jason we got caught in a lot of traffic. After we got him there we decided to walk over to the scene. What a mess!!!!! I heard the driver talking to a police officers and he said that he didnt have a license. Crazy!

Today was a bit crazy. So much arguing between children! AHHHH! I hadnt taken a photo so I decided to go outside and find a night shot. I am not very happy with the photo but it isn't too bad.

Liz went to work with me today! We had such a fun time together. During a slow moment we went out to the barn to see the new baby donkey. The crazy thing about this donkey is no one new the mom was pregnant! Someone went in the barn to feed and surprise baby donkey!!!!!! It was a bit difficult to get a good shot because he was so active. His tongue hangs out the side of his mouth which is pretty silly. I guess its a common thing in baby donkeys. While we were in there Liz got attacked buy a goat and was so calm during it but the moment I "saved" her she burst into tears. It was so cute and sad at the same time. I had her laughing soon enough though!

All of us were sitting down to watch a movie and Jason and Liz ended up falling asleep together on the chair. SO SWEET! She was not happy that I took the photo though :)

I made dinner tonight for Jason and the kids and this is what we had. Roasted Pork Tenderloin Glazed in a Sage and Apricot Sauce and stuffed with a Apple and Bacon Dressing. Pan-fried Potatoes and Roasted French Beans.

I didnt come across much that spoke to me today so I had to take a last minute photo. I love gnomes! Well for a garden. I dont have a garden anymore so I put my two gnomes on my bookshelf. I think its really funny so I decided to take a photo of it.

Today was Alizabeth's actual birthday so I made her cupcakes and took them to the school. I make cupcakes all of the time and wanted to have fun with these so I swirled some color into the batter. The batter was already confetti cake so when you cut into these there was a lot of color!

I took a lot of flower shots today and it was very hard to decide which photo to choose. I posted the other ones on my flickr if you are interested in viewing them. It was taco night so and Austin was home late so we made him a sampler for dinner. Liz though it was really neat so she decided to take a photo of it for her photo of the day. I keep forgetting I am doing this so take my photo at the last minute. Hopefully I can get into the swing of this!

So I have been a bit distant from my camera over the last several months due to a lot of changes in my life. They are good changes so I suppose it was worth it. But now I am ready to get started again. My goal is to post a photo a day for a year. This year is a leap year so we get one extra day. Alizabeth has decided to do a photo a day for the days we are together :)
